Latte at Stumptown Coffee Roasters |
As we all know, New York is know for their sidewalk cafes. The ones that we walked into were all crowded. Lines seem to be a necessity to get your hands on a cup of joe!

Ground Support Cafe
Americano |
Ground Support had these awesome coffee lids made just coffee. Decaf? OKAY. Cream? FOSHO. Black? HECK YEAH! (Jocelyn is crazy for black coffee.) They should make it a law for all coffee shops to have these lids.
Stumptown Coffee Roasters
Have you ever seen your local barista dressed up? Wearing a fedora? At Stumptown everything was so quaint!
Remember our breakfast at Breslin? With the deep-fried sausage? We heard Breslin had pretty rad pastries but after eating all that fried meat goodness, our tummies were MAXED OUT (like our debit cards...)
There were so many pastries to choose from so we asked for the most popular items and drumroll...
The popular pastries! |
Pineapple Donut |
The pineapple donut had good flavor but a tad bit dense for a yeast donut.
Orange Custard Bun |
Innards |
This pastry was a lot fluffier than the pineapple donut, and it had a surprising custard filling to contrast the texture of the bread. You can never go wrong with pastries for breakfast, and with a great cup of coffee...BALLIN!
Eaten by Jocelyn and Cathy.
